Reiki – meaning “universal life energy” – is a unique touch healing system from Japan. Reiki promotes healing for a wide variety of physical and emotional symptoms by balancing one’s energy and activating the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Reiki works with the unseen energy that flows through all living things and directly affects quality of health. It is an ancient hands-on healing that allows a person to come into a calmer state of mind thus affecting all areas of his or her health.

Today Reiki is gaining recognition as a powerful integrative therapy, being used in hospitals, hospice settings, chemical treatment programs, pain clinics, mental health work, etc.

Facilitator Melanie Williams is a Reiki Master and has been teaching Reiki classes since 1996 in the Mankato, MN area. Her comfort with the material and her style of teaching creates a welcoming space for all her students.

Reiki I is for anyone that wishes to learn how to do energy work on themselves or family members (including pets!).

Reiki II introduces students to the Reiki symbols and to long-distance healing.
